Software Solution Developer and Project Manager

I have been in the field of software design and development since 1993. It feeds my need to solve problems and find ways to make things just work better. I guess it's true that we usually do what we are. Along the way it has given me a chance to travel and work with some of the most successful and highly motivated people in the industry.

This site is rather rough at this point. It is based on the My Web Pages Starter Kit available for download on Codeplex. While this release provides a basic internet presence, future updates will feature "Web 2.0" features - including use of AJAX, Silverlight, and downloadable code.

About Me

I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, about 25 miles from where my family first settled over 300 years ago. In 2002, I moved to the Seattle area. When people ask why I moved to the Pacific Northwest the answer is simple - quality of life and the weather. Fresh air, beautiful forests, perfect summers, the lakes, the cosmopolitan nature of the area, and the chance to connect with some of the brightest minds in software development.
